Maine SHRM, Best Companies Group and BridgeTower Media Announce 2026 Best Places to Work in Maine

The Maine State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, Best Companies Group and BridgeTower Media have named National Distributors, Inc. as one of the 2026 Best Places to Work in Maine.

Best Places to Work in Maine identifies, recognizes and honors the best places of employment in Maine in three categories: small employer companies (15-49 U.S. employees), medium employer companies (50-249 U.S. employees) and large employer companies (250 or more U.S. employees). To be considered, companies must be a publicly or privately held business; be a for-profit, not-for-profit business or government entity; have a facility in the state of Maine; have at least 15 full-time or part-time employees working in Maine; and be in business a minimum of one year.

Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings. A listing of winners is below. The final rankings will be announced at the Oct. 13 awards celebration.

The winners will be honored October 13 at an 80s-themed celebration at the Augusta Civic Center, 76 Community Drive in Augusta. Registration, networking and a dinner buffet begin at 5 p.m., followed by the awards program and winner rankings revealed at 6:30 p.m. The event hashtag is #BestPlacesME.

Attendance is limited for this event. Honorees and sponsors get the first chance to secure tables. Sponsorship includes a table for guests, multimedia marketing, an ad in the awards publication, logo usage and more.
