Local Fall/Oktoberfest Beers

  • Atlantic Leaf-Peeping Ale
Leaf-Peeping Red Ale is an English style red ale brewed with German noble hops to create a smooth session beer with a mild sweetness on the finish. We use 10% crystal malt to achieve a ruby red color that is reminiscent on Maine fall folliage.
  • Atlantic Coal Porter
When we decided to add a dark beer to our repertoire we chose to pursue the rich, chocolate tones of a porter. This ale continues to gather accolades in the beer world for its strong malt backbone and well-balanced, bitter hops.
  • Orono Brewing Festbier
German style ale brewed to celebrate the Oktoberfest season. Crisp and sessionable, with a pleasant malt character.
  • Orono Brewing Flannel Season
Celebrate New England autumn with Orono Brewing Company’s Autumn Ale. This delicous Copper Ale is endlessly drinkable and balanced.
  • Bunker Bunktoberfest
Our seasonal fest bier made to celebrate the bounty of summer and the oncoming cool temps of autumn. Brewed with 100% German Munich/Pils malt. Pours a deep copper with a dark fruit nose. Full and deep malt flavor with a lingering alcohol bite. Finishes crisp & cleans.
  • Bunker Libbytown Brown
American Brown Ale brewed with British base & Chocolate malts plus flaked Oats & flaked Rye added to the mash. Hopped with a mix of US Pacific NW hops for a pleasant bitterness that plays well with the dark/crystal malt flavor. Slightly sweet, piney, with notes of baker’s chocolate and dark fruits. A combination of a classic UK style blended with American hop.
  • Fogtown Night Nurse
American Stout. Dry and refreshing despite heavy notes of deep dark-chocolate and richly roasted malted barley. Deceptively strong but surprisingly smooth.
  • Geaghan Bros. Bangor Brown
Named after the iconic Thomas Hill Standpipe, it features a chocolate-like malt profile balanced by a citrus hop character and a dry-hopped aroma.
  • Geaghan Bros. Higgins Irish Red
Malt forward flavors from UK Golden Promise and American 2-Row are balanced with the light hoppy goodness of Northern Brewer and East Kent Golding giving this slightly sweet red ale a unique place in our growing line up of ales.
  • Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale
Brewed with real pumpkin and traditional spices – think cinnamon, nutmeg and clove – it’s a hearty, deeply balanced ale with a cornucopia of fall aromas to match a flavor profile that’s robust and complex without being overwhelming.
  • Gritty McDuffs Halloween Ale
This masterful brew is a not only a great rendition of the Extra Special Bitter style, but a great alternative to the annual onslaught of pumpkin beers. This robust brew has a deep amber color, a bold, malty palate and a well-rounded hop finish. The beer is so good, it’s scary!
  • Oxbow Brewing Oxtoberfest
Smoked Farmhouse Ale brewed with German malts. Smoked Biere de Garde!
  • Oxbow Brewing Town Line Porter
Town Line Porter is brewed with American hops, English specialty malts, & Maine-grown barley.
  • Sacred Profane Amber Lager
Malt-driven lager with a deep amber appearance. Herbal hop flavor, rich toasted bread malt character, medium body and high drinkability.
  • Sacred Profane Dark Lager
A session lager with malt complexity, complementary roast character, spicy hop flavor, and immense drinkability.
  • Freedom’s Edge Sweet Mullet Cider
While this semi-sweet embodiment of Fall in a can was born from a typo (mulled/mullet), the similarities seem too uncanny for coincidence. Business in the front: local dessert fruit fermented crisp, clean, and dry. Party in the rear: steeped in mulling spices and back sweetened with ice cider. Fresh apples, dried orange, all-spice, cinnamon, and clove.
  • Dasch Cranberry Seltzer
Our cranberry seltzer uses Massachusetts grown cranberries from the town of Carver. Dry and refreshing, every sip is quickly followed by the desire for more.

Harpoon Pumpkin Cider is BACK! This seasonal sensation combines the crisp, refreshing taste of locally-sourced apples with the signature taste of fall – PUMPKIN! • Von Trapp Oktoberfest
This full-bodied amber lager is brewed in the traditional Marzen style. A blend of light and dark Munich malts creates notes of graham cracker, caramel and bread crust complemented by floral and peppery aromas from Hallertau and Tettnang hops. Say “Prost” with this crisp and celebratory lager.

Imported Fall/Oktoberfest Beers

  • Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest Marzen
As it was forbidden to brew in summer, a stronger beer – The Marzen – was brewed in March. It would finally be served at the Oktoberfest, under the “Heaven of Bavaria.” We have returned once again to the age-old recipe and recreated that gloriously smooth, honey-colored piece of history from times gone by.
  • Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier
Brewed once a year and only available while supplies last, Oktoberfest Wiesen is the pinnacle of German brewing: deep golden color, full-bodied and wonderfully mellow, with a balanced, harmonious taste and the pleasant fragrance of hops. At 6% ABV it is stronger and bolder than the usual lager.
  • Paulaner Oktoberfest Marzen
This Marzen is an amber style lager that was developed over 200 years ago to celebrate the original Oktoberfest. The Marzen name comes from “March Beer” because it was historically brewed in March to be at peak flavor for the Oktoberfest celebration.
  • Spaten Oktoberfest
Amber in color, this medium bodied beer has achieved its taste by balancing the roasted malt flavor with the perfect amount of hops. Having achieved a rich textured palate with an underlying sweetness that stays true to tradition.
  • Weihenstephaner Festbier
A full, rich bodied and hoppy seasonal lager. This beer is brewed for the Oktoberfest season and represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!
